Travis Koenig represented the housing trust (NIACOG) and requested $3,000 to support home repairs for elderly, disabled and veteran households, describing forgivable loan terms and matching requirements. Library association representatives requested a 3% operating increase and a $6,000 technology grant to sustain programs and services countywide.
Other presenters included the county economic development corporation (requesting continued funding at prior levels), Crisis Intervention Service (requesting $10,000 to support victim services across multiple counties) and several local community organizations outlining small capital and program needs. Supervisors asked clarifying questions and deferred final funding decisions to upcoming budget deliberations.
