NCPRO likely to sunset June 30, 2026; staff expected to continue closeout work under OSBM through Apr. 2027

He added that once the office sunsets the functions will be handled under the Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM) and that participants should expect minor organizational changes in 2026 but the same teams to perform the closeout work.
Clark framed the transition as administrative: he said the priority is completing liquidation, reconciliation and the Treasury report by Apr. 30, 2027, and urged agencies to continue working with their usual contacts. The meeting concluded with an offer for one‑on‑one follow up with NCPRO staff.
