Monroe County Schools reports slight enrollment dip and highlights alumni in 'Monroe Made' program

Dr. Windsor also reported that all four Monroe County high schools earned the Tennessee governor’s civic seal for prioritizing instruction in U.S. history and civic values. The transcript noted a recent joint CTE advisory meeting that included CTE teachers from Sequoia, Sweetwater and Tullico Plains high schools and industry partners; Kimberly Anderson, identified as director of Monroe County economic development in the transcript, was the keynote speaker at that meeting. The transcript also thanked veterans for school Veterans Day activities.
The board closed with a reminder about a holiday tree event Dec. 18 at Anderson Ridge Event Center.
