The Jackson County Board of Supervisors voted Nov. 25 to increase staffing in the county jail and to restructure supervisory pay. Andrew Long and Becky asked the board to add four full‑time correctional positions, eliminate two part‑time positions, and reduce PRN (as‑needed) positions from 12 to 4, effective Dec. 7, 2025. The board approved the staffing change by motion and voice vote.
