The Milford Inland Wetlands Commission received an update Dec. 3 on IW2050054, a redevelopment proposal for 470–488 Wheelish Farms Road by Wheelish Farms Developers LLC.
Mary Rose said the applicant and city engineer are finalizing plans for grading and mitigation work within 150 feet of a wetland in the WeptWild River watershed and reported the applicant granted the commission a 14‑day extension to the 65‑day review period, moving the deadline to Dec. 17.
Applicant Patrick O'Leary summarized revisions the team made in response to commission comments, including adding a water‑quality unit near a garage outfall, reinforced erosion controls around wetlands and managed plantings intended to avoid conflicts with snow removal. O'Leary said the applicants are “working closely with the engineer and staff” and look forward to returning with finalized plans.
The commission took no formal action and asked staff to circulate the city engineer’s finalized report when available.
