Osage County commission roundup: audits RFP, subscriptions, emergency vehicle permits, and bills

The Osage County Commission handled a range of administrative items Nov. 25, approving an audit RFP, subscriptions and routine payments and scheduling interviews and vendor visits for next week.

The commission voted to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for the 2024 audit year and discussed a 30‑day submission window and distribution methods. Commissioners agreed the clerk’s office will publish the RFP and that the county counselor could be listed as a contact for technical questions.

Commissioners approved Purchase Order No. 4112, a yearly subscription to No Wait Inside for $5,400 to be paid from fund 001‑20‑5200 after confirming county offices use the system to schedule appointments.

The commission granted an emergency vehicle designation for Dylan Filkins (both vehicles presented) following a motion and voice vote.

The board conducted state‑mandated coin flips to break contested local election results: for City of Melbourne the coin landed tails, awarding the seat to Jerry Beeman; coin flips for the City of Scranton seat between Tim Neto and Allison Van de Boerde were also conducted and recorded. The commission signed the required certification forms on the record.
