The committee chair told members that the Woodford County Fair Board remains in discussions with the county on an outstanding fair-board lease and that he has been in email contact with Mary Lou Watkins, the Fair Board chair. The chair said the fair has negotiated a carnival date in the third week of June for the 2026 fair, which should reduce conflicts with graduation and theater scheduling.
