Scranton SD honors student athletes and district arts program

West Scranton freshman Seamus Wallace was recognized for qualifying for district competition and for his state meet finish. The district also celebrated being named an Outstanding Visual Arts Community by the Pennsylvania Art Education Association; Ryan Nat of West High was singled out for leadership, and district art teachers described upcoming student exhibitions at the Everhart Museum and local community window‑painting projects.
Board members asked the public‑relations office to issue a press release highlighting the recognitions and encouraged community attendance at student events.
