Board members and staff worked through typographical corrections and substantive clarifications, including adding a citation for a lawsuit referenced in paragraph 15, striking a duplicative paragraph labeled C on page 4, and deleting an incomplete paragraph 68 while adding the new paragraph (75) that restates the board’s practice on private agreements.
A member asked whether the last line of the findings summarized the overall decision; an exchange in the meeting noted that the findings state the Huffs’ variance requests were denied in the written conclusions. After confirming edits had been incorporated, a member moved to "approve and adopt the Monroe County Board of Zoning Appeals written findings of fact and conclusions on docket items VAR-25-48A and VAR-25-48B" and the motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
The vote was recorded as yes from Jeff Morris, Margaret Clemons, Pamela Davidson and Guy Loffman. The board agreed to sign a single master copy of the adopted findings and then adjourned the special meeting.
