Rose Worth, a Ridgeway resident, told Fairfield County Council that on Aug. 30 a pit bull broke into a home at 130 North Dogwood and attacked her pugs, and that it took more than an hour for the sheriffanimal-control staff to respond. "The vet says that we're lucky that he's alive," Worth said, describing serious injuries to one of her pugs.
