Ada County commissioners approve batch of routine resolutions, permits and agreements

At its Dec. 2 meeting the Ada County Board approved multiple resolutions and routine consent items: Resolution 31-50 (professional services list), 31-51 (sale of county property), 31-52 (deferred compensation plan), 31-53 (conveyance of Motorola radios), catering permits and licenses, claims journal, personnel actions, multiple agreements, and indigent services recommendations. All items passed by voice votes.
Ada County commissioners on Dec. 2 approved a series of routine and administrative items in a single session, voting by voice on multiple resolutions, permits, agreements and consent items.
The board approved Resolution 31-50, which updates and consolidates the county’s pre-approved list for architectural, engineering, testing and land surveying services after a formal RFQ and evaluation process. Commissioners approved Resolution 31-51 to allow sale of county personal property (surplus), with staff directed to coordinate with Interfaith Sanctuary on potential donations. Resolution 31-52, an amended and restated Ada County deferred compensation plan, was approved after staff said the changes reflect routine federal updates. The board also approved Resolution 31-53 to convey surplus Motorola radios from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office to the College of Western Idaho for educational use.
In consent items the board approved three catering permits, one new liquor license and three license transfers; authorized payment of the county claims journal dated Nov. 28, 2025; approved personnel actions including a conditional pay increase, transfers, reclassifications and salary adjustments; and accepted the recommendations of Indigent Services for cases dated 12/02/2025. The board also approved an agreement with Expo Idaho for the Idaho Gem Club gem mineral show, plus 14 other agreements listed on the agenda, and authorized the chair to sign necessary documents. Each motion was moved, seconded and passed by voice vote during the meeting record.
Where relevant, staff provided brief context: the professional services list followed an RFQ with roughly 35 proposals evaluated and top firms selected by grading criteria; procurement will meet with Interfaith Sanctuary to identify surplus items useful to the nonprofit; and the deferred compensation plan updates were described as routine HR maintenance.
