Conservation Commission issues negative determinations for Amstar electrical project

The Springfield City Conservation Commission voted Dec. 9 to issue negative determinations under sections labeled 'negative 1, negative 4 and negative 6' for a proposed Amstar Electrical Resource project on parcel 121680205.

Chair opened the item and said the application packet had been provided to commissioners and was thorough. Anna Messick, who identified herself for the record as present on behalf of the applicant ('I'm from Ty and Bond'), told the commission she was available to answer additional questions.

With no members of the public requesting to comment, the chair moved to close the public hearing and a commissioner seconded the motion. Commissioners recorded affirmative votes to close the hearing and then voted to issue the requested negative determinations. Commissioners who recorded 'Yes' during the roll calls on these motions included Commissioner Collins, Commissioner Almitis, Commissioner Miller, Commissioner Jones and Commissioner Ryan.

The commission did not enter conditions on the determinations during the meeting. The item concluded and the commission moved on to the next agenda item.
