An event organizer, Megan, told council that the team had been working through the concerts for summer 2026 and that they had added some new performers. She said vendors are still being sought. On council questions, Megan confirmed alcohol would be sold only at Triangle events, not at every concert.
A motion to approve the park concert dates and the Tunes in the Triangle dates with alcohol sales was made and seconded; the motion included a condition to ensure required insurance was provided. Council members voted and the motion carried.
Council members also noted the volunteer needs for the series and invited community members to sign up. The council recorded the approval in the meeting minutes and noted the event schedule will be posted as part of communications packets for the coming season.
