El Paso County recognized for Envisio Projects transparency; county invites celebration

Lorena Rodriguez, with County Administration, announced that Envisio selected El Paso County as a recipient of its Projects Anniversary Transparency Award for the county's breadth of publicly published project dashboards and use cases tied to the 2024 bond program.

Rodriguez said the county was an early adopter of Envisio Projects and became the first local government to publicly launch Envisio's project dashboard for capital-improvement-bond reporting. The award recognizes the county's number of published projects, the breadth of departmental use cases and active maintenance of dashboards. "This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our county administration team, our county administrator, our deputy county administrators, department heads, and their staff..." Rodriguez said.

County administration invited commissioners to an afternoon celebration with local bakery cakes to mark the award and asked staff to continue updating dashboards and public materials so residents can track bond projects and strategic-plan initiatives.

Ending: Commissioners thanked the administration and staff for the transparency work and noted the importance of continuing the practice of public reporting and outreach.
