Hamilton Township adopts Warren County five-year hazard mitigation plan after county presentation
After a county emergency-management presentation, the Hamilton Township Board of Trustees voted to adopt the Warren County multi‑jurisdictional five‑year hazard mitigation plan update, making the township eligible for certain disaster-relief and mitigation funds.

Sydney Renner of the Warren County Emergency Management Agency presented the 2025 Warren County hazard mitigation plan update and told trustees the document is federally required and must be updated every five years. "It is a federally required plan, and it requires us to go through an update every 5 years," Renner said, and she added that adopting the plan "does open you up and make you eligible for certain types of funding ... including disaster relief assistance as well as mitigation grants."
