The board advanced its selection of design services for the county’s main remodel after interviewing three architectural firms. Speaker 1 preferred a local firm (Ben Foote) and opposed using a construction manager; Speaker 2 and others supported selecting an 'insight' firm from Washington and including a construction manager to limit the county’s exposure to cost overruns.
