The Logan City Council on Dec. 16 approved an amendment to the Land Development Code (Ordinance 25‑24) to align local stormwater fees and code language with state regulations.
Public Works and Community Development staff presented the proposed change, explaining the text in section 17.60 was intended to mirror current state guidance for stormwater fee assessment. No members of the public spoke during the hearing.
A councilmember moved approval, a second was offered and the council approved the ordinance by voice vote. Staff said the adoption updates administrative language and fee alignment; no immediate budget appropriation was required.
Next steps: ordinance language will be codified and the administrative implementation handled by Public Works and Community Development.
