County revises ambulance certificate rules, creates vehicle permit and extends application cycle

St. Lucie County adopted a rewritten COPCN ordinance to focus on ambulance services: it reduces certificate classes to two (Class A emergency for fire district, Class B nonemergency for private providers), introduces an annual vehicle permit and inspection process, updates insurance limits, and moves application cycles to four years.
