At its Dec. 11 meeting the Morgan County Planning Commission acted on three administrative items. Planning staff described Item 6 (Ponderosa subdivision preliminary plat) and said the applicant is working with staff; staff will renotice and bring that item back at a later date and no motion was required.
The commission then considered two plat amendments. For application 24.067 (LDS Mountain Green Cottonwood Canyon Road subdivision, Lot 4 adjustment at 4210 West Cottonwood Canyon Road, 28.97 acres) staff recommended approval after review by the county surveyor, Mountain Green Fire Protection District and other departments. Member Sessions moved to recommend approval to the county commission; Member Waugh seconded and the recommendation passed unanimously.
For application 25.028 (Cottonwoods Spring View PUD third plat amendment, lot line adjustment for Lots 710 and 711 at 6348 and 6358 South Wasatch Back Drive), staff explained Lot 711 would increase from about 0.59 to 0.91 acres while Lot 710 would decrease from about 0.64 to 0.32 acres. The staff and reviewing departments recommended approval. Member Wilson moved to recommend approval and Member McMillan seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Both approvals will be transmitted as recommendations to the Morgan County Commission for final legislative action where applicable.
