Committee roundup: multiple motions sent to full board, routine items approved

Across several committee meetings, commissioners took routine procedural actions and forwarded multiple items to the full Board of Commissioners for final consideration.

Human Services Committee items sent to the full board included proposed environmental health fee-schedule revisions and a McNaughton book-plan subscription renewal; both were approved by committee voice votes. The Commission on Aging reappointments and 2026 service contracts were referred to the full board; committee members asked questions about a millage-funded clause restricting political involvement by service providers and were told administration would investigate complaints and could require reimbursements if funds were used inappropriately.
