Staff outlines SEEDin2 rollout, testing and training schedule
Staff said SEEDin2 (an EarthSoft EQuIS-based system) is being customized for chemistry data with contracted-lab testing complete; the team aims for public access to the chemistry module in spring 2026, will publish templates and guidance in January, and plans training and outreach to labs and regional data centers.

Tessa Foggitt provided an update on SEEDin2, the Water Boards' planned replacement/customization of the current SEEDin platform using EarthSoft's EQuIS system. She said the contracted laboratory has been testing the chemistry module and staff will shortly begin API testing with regional data centers.
