Carpinteria authorized staff to advertise a notice inviting bids for the Franklin Creek Trail Improvement Project, a roughly 900‑foot multiuse trail connecting Carpinteria Avenue to 7th Street that will include accessible paving, lighting, benches and landscaping and is programmed in the FY25–26 CIP.
