The Rochester Public Schools Board on Dec. 16 approved a commercial purchase agreement to sell the Skyline Schoolhouse property to Infinity Enterprises LLC for $275,000.
The resolution read by the chair authorized the superintendent and board officers to execute all documents necessary to complete the transaction. Superintendent (presentation) noted that the asking price was judged fair by the district's realtor and that the transaction fits the district's facility strategy previously discussed with the board.
The motion to approve the sale was moved and seconded from the floor and adopted by voice vote.
The district indicated the sale is a first step tied to broader facility strategy work that will return to the board in 2026.
