Council approves $80,910 value-engineering amendment for Penny Pool design work

City staff presented a proposed amendment to the professional services agreement for the Penny Pool complex that would pay the consultant $80,910 to perform a value-engineering study and revise construction drawings to reduce costs. Staff described the proposed scope as identifying elements that could be eliminated or simplified to lower project costs and told the council that Measure P funds would cover the work.
