Hospital-district-backed FANS program reports harvests and cafeteria use; cooler, truck projects planned
Marion County Hospital District and district food services told the school board the FANS program harvested more than 9,000 pounds of produce in 2024–25 (more than 4,000 pounds served in cafeterias), announced a planned 900-sq-ft cooler at Howard Academy (2026) and described a refrigerated truck purchase approved Dec. 9 for distribution.
