Dugway RFP, Mid Valley Highway and road studies top COG project updates

At the Dec. 18 meeting, committee reports covered several development and infrastructure items affecting Tooele County.

A Dugway representative said the Department of the Army issued a request for proposals for enhanced-use leases to host private data centers on selected Army installations. Dugway identified three parcels under consideration (an eastern parcel near Skull Valley, a northern parcel adjacent to Utter, and a northwestern parcel near Wendover). The Army Corps of Engineers is acting as contracting agent and the RFP was posted on the federal procurement site (sam.gov was mentioned).
