Chairman announced that “the board voted unanimously to appoint Shannon as the county administrator after our executive session,” saying the appointment takes effect Dec. 1 and asking colleagues to join him in congratulating her. The board later advanced a resolution authorizing the chairman to sign an employment agreement with Shannon L. Killian; the resolution was moved and adopted without opposition.
