Orange County outlines $42.7M in District 1 projects, prioritizes Vision Zero corridors
Orange County public works presented 61 completed or underway District 1 transportation projects totaling about $42.7 million, and said staff will prioritize 14 Vision Zero high-injury segments with targeted safety countermeasures including leading pedestrian intervals, intersection tightening and pedestrian lighting.

Orange County public works staff told the Transportation Mobility Advisory Commission on Dec. 15 that 61 projects in District 1 were completed or substantially underway in fiscal year 2024–25, representing more than $42.7 million invested in the community.
