Pipestone County commissioners voted to accept an Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Office of Public Safety grant to support the Buffalo Ridge Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force. Sheriff’s staff said the county is fiscal agent for the task force and that the award comprises two rounds of funding totaling $144,537. The sheriff said operations will continue unchanged and that the county would execute necessary contract documents.
