Will County Board honors Undersheriff Brian Conser on retirement

Speaker Joe Van Dine read the proclamation noting Conser’s career progression — from deputy correctional officer in 1996 to undersheriff since 2019 — and cited his leadership overseeing adult detention, enforcement, special operations and support services. The proclamation, dated December 2025, was signed by Speaker Van Dine and County Executive Jennifer Bertino Tarrant and attested by County Clerk Annette Parker. The board voted to adopt the proclamation and members offered personal thanks and brief remarks.
Conser thanked the board and agencies that supported his career and noted bipartisan cooperation on items such as acquisition of body cameras during his tenure. The board then moved on to the day’s business.
