Tom, the library director, updated the board on building renovations and a Friends-funded shelving proposal. He reported drywall work, bathroom repairs (one women's room wall had to be rebuilt at contractor cost) and near-complete stairwell work; chairs for study rooms and the lab are expected on Dec. 30 (per the director). Tom said a network-vendor coordination meeting was scheduled and that some work may run into January.
