The Utility Safety & Environment Committee and Finance Committee of the Elyria City Council voted on Dec. 8 to authorize the mayor to apply for a Division of Environmental and Financial Assistance (DEFA) loan and to advertise and award a contract for phase one of the Wet Weather Program sewer‑lining project.
