County accepts Homeland Security, SIA and Health Foundation grants totaling multiple awards
The commission accepted a Homeland Security grant worth $939,374 (no local match) to fund delegates to HAZMAT and NASPO conferences, an SIA Foundation $25,000 award for AEDs for patrol vehicles, and a $7,500 Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis award to support Gateway to Hope’s syringe-service exchange through June 2026.
