The Madison Common Council Executive Committee voted to enter closed session Dec. 9 to consider strategy for crime detection or prevention, citing Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(d) and the notice provisions in section 19.852. The chair asked whether there was any objection to taking a unanimous vote; seeing none, staff moved the meeting into closed session.
