Personnel and payroll: The court approved payment of accrued vacation for corrections officer Bobby Sonner in the amount of $948.60 after the sheriff reported the jail’s staffing shortages prevented Sonner from taking leave. The court also approved payment of $1,290 to deputy Christopher Ackley for the same reason. Both payments were approved by voice vote after the sheriff’s office requested the payouts.
