The board considered multiple requests for exemptions from a county moratorium on subdivisions established by Resolution 29.20.25. Levi Long appeared on behalf of Mark and Carla (owners) and asked to split approximately 1.5 acres from a parent parcel on Spring Creek Road (Parcel 031139/031140). Commissioners moved to approve the exemption, and the motion carried with affirmative votes.
Separately, Hunter Fleming requested permission to split roughly 3.927 acres from a parental parcel on North Alabama Road (parcel referenced as 042‑B‑0499). Commissioners discussed required road frontage and site details and ultimately voted to return the request to the planning commission for technical review and to continue the process there.
In each case, commissioners emphasized that tonight's action allows applicants to move forward to the normal permitting process (or, in one case, to have planning commission oversight) rather than automatically authorizing construction or development.
