Delafield approves vet clinic SIP, new assessor contract, phone-system budget amendment and administrator raise

At its Dec. 15 meeting the Delafield Common Council approved a specific implementation plan for an urgent-care facility, consented to a developer assignment, authorized a contract with Accurate Appraisal to serve as city assessor beginning Jan. 1, 2026, adopted a $13,442 budget amendment for a phone-system back-end upgrade, and approved a 4% pay increase for the city administrator following closed-session review.
The Delafield Common Council took several administrative and budget actions at its Dec. 15 meeting in addition to land-use decisions.
Assessment services: The council accepted Magnus Associates' resignation as city assessor (term to expire April 2026) and voted to contract with Accurate Appraisal to provide city assessment services beginning Jan. 1, 2026. Mayor Eichard said Accurate Appraisal offers an online platform that will allow residents to view assessment data in near real time.
