Decatur Mayor Kent Lawrence swore in Nathan Kyle Springer as the city’s new fire chief at an afternoon ceremony, and Decatur Municipal Judge Tequisha Golston administered the oath of office. Mayor Lawrence introduced Springer as a leader “who has earned the trust of this department and the confidence of our residents.”
