The Hart County Board of Commissioners moved to rescind the broader request for proposals for road work and to pursue a narrower, countywide road study and road map. A commissioner cited Georgia law (Code 32‑4‑63) and Hart County purchasing procedures, noting that the smaller project is anticipated to fall under the $250,000 threshold and that at least two written estimates should be solicited for transparency.
