Architects present Level 2 design for Riverton State Office Building; agencies generally supportive

Prospect Studio and Anderson Masonville Architects walked the Riverton State Office Task Force through the Level 2 feasibility drawings for the recently purchased Lehi L. Larson (US Energy) building, describing existing conditions, proposed demolition and a conceptual plan to consolidate several state agencies into a single renovated facility.
The design team said much of the existing building can be retained but that multiple mechanical, electrical and accessibility components must be upgraded. "Most of the utilities in this building are quite dated," said Danny Wick, a principal with Prospect Studio. He and other designers flagged the elevator as "quite old"…
