County approves multiple change orders for courthouse projects, adopts stairwell security procedures

Commissioners approved change orders for the 5th and 11th floor courthouse projects and an elevator modification, and adopted new evacuation and lock‑release procedures required by fire code for detention areas. Costs include an $18,300 change order for 5th floor work, $2,838 for stairwell work and $31,775 for elevator modifications.
