Superintendent reports power, paving and maintenance progress; board approves claims and small projects
At the Nov. 25 Henry County Memorial Park board meeting, the superintendent reported electricity restoration, island and gazebo repairs, aerator installations and ongoing pavement work; the board approved claims, accepted collections of $3,375 for October and approved $374.21 toward Duck Island seed mixes.

The superintendent reported that "the electricity is back online" in the park’s northern section after a recent outage and that grounds staff repaired island lighting and began gazebo work. He said aerators were installed in the water before temperatures fell, pavement work planned for the year was completed, and staff are pursuing Community Crossings and Community Development Block Grant opportunities to support future repaving.
