Road commission delays Stokes Ferry bridge work after utility-line issues
Commissioners were told a planned Jan. 5 shutdown of the Stokes Ferry bridge will be delayed while crews resolve a water- and gas-line issue; staff said they will meet early next week and post at least a month of notice before any full closure.
