Bryan County earns DCA "Plan First" designation, unlocking state incentives

The Bryan County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 9 received notice from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs that the county has been awarded Plan First designation effective Jan. 1, 2026. Daniel Gaddis, DCA outreach and education coordinator, told the board the designation lasts three years and singled out Bryan County for high marks on goals, leadership, participation and implementation.
