Warren Works presented an early performance update to Warren City Council on Nov. 17, reporting online engagement and a proposed $120,000 marketing budget for 2026 that would emphasize digital advertising and content.
The marketing lead (presenting as "Jenny") said total website views since launch are close to 5,300 with about 3,200 unique users and 36,535 total tracked events. She told council streaming video impressions from a brand-awareness campaign totaled 758,431 and reached roughly 434,469 households; social media reels yielded more than 206,000 impressions and more than 1,400 on-site actions. Jenny said the ongoing county website promotion campaign had produced 92,000 impressions and 50,000 unique viewers with 546 landing page views and a click-through rate of 0.8%, near an industry benchmark of 0.9%.
Jenny described planned 2026 activities built around a $120,000 budget: half allocated to digital (social, programmatic display and streaming video), monthly blog posts, targeted landing pages, a bimonthly virtual newsletter, citizen and business spotlight features, and partnerships for co-branding. She also said she has applied for a Google grant (eligibility dependent on nonprofit status through WCBA) and is working with an agency (Forestline Media) on creative and programmatic strategy.
Council members asked for platform details and geographic breakdowns; Jenny said streaming placements include Roku and a variety of partner platforms and that tracking will be improved through pixels and programmatic reporting to show referral sources and geographic performance (Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo were listed among the top feeder markets). Several council members voiced support for continued investment and asked for more targeted monthly reporting.
