Chickasaw County safety coordinator recommends replacing aging AEDs and scheduling staff training
Renee, the county safety coordinator, told supervisors Oct. 27 that parts for current AEDs are becoming scarce and presented two options: servicing existing Lifepacks (quoted $3,689 for a two-year batteries/pads replacement) or purchasing new Avive devices (quoted $11,306 one-time for county units) with training and monitoring to follow.
