Mitchell County approves MOU to host Iowa Primary Care Association system navigator part time
Mitchell County supervisors approved an MOU with the Iowa Primary Care Association to place a system navigator at the Public Health building 1–2 days weekly to help residents with Medicaid, SNAP and referrals to substance abuse and mental health services; the PCA will pay modest space fees through June 2026 and an annual cap thereafter.

Mitchell County supervisors voted Jan. 2 to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Primary Care Association (PCA) to station a system navigator on-site at the county Public Health building on a part‑time schedule. The board approved the agreement and authorized the chair to sign.
