Jenny introduced Christina Hubka as the Riceville City Council’s nominee to fill a conservation commission vacancy created by Nathan Kinter’s departure at year’s end. The board moved to approve Hubka’s appointment; Mark made the motion and Jim seconded. During roll call the following votes were recorded: Mark — aye; Todd — aye; Jim — aye; Cindy — aye; Sam — aye. The motion passed.
