Commission approves 2026 budgets, cost-of-service study, personnel changes and multiple engineering task orders
At its Dec. 17 meeting the Hutchinson Utilities Commission approved the 2026 electric and gas operating budgets and five-year CIP, authorized a cost-of-service study with UFS, approved a 4% nonunion pay-grid shift, a paid family medical leave policy, several DGR engineering task orders, a customs power of attorney and moved into closed session for the general manager's review.

HUTCHINSON, Minn. — The Hutchinson Utilities Commission adopted a slate of budget, personnel and capital actions at its Dec. 17 meeting, moving several projects forward and authorizing studies and policies staff said are needed for 2026 planning.
