NextEra presents plan for 300 MW battery project, asks county to consider zoning changes

Representatives of NextEra Energy Resources on Dec. 18 gave the Stark County Planning and Zoning Commission an overview of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and described a conceptual project the company calls Bridal Energy Storage, a collocated 300 MW installation sited near the Brady Wind collector substation.
